It must suck to live in your world - all negative, all the time...

...He just made, by all accounts, two
outstanding coaching hires...

I'll tell you what, if they go up to Seattle after a spring/summer full of working themselves into a frothy lather of delusion and lose to U-dub, I may have to take a week off of work. I don't think UW is supposed to be very good and they have a "who?" Rookie head coach, so that might be the kind of game ttun can win, but...man...if they lose...

U-dub loses a lot from a team that was meh in the first place. If scUM can’t win that game they are in some big trouble next year.

Exactly. They were very meh this year, lose a lot and have a rookie HC. That is an absolute must win for them. And any decent team should win that game comfortably. They lose that game and I bet the "hot seat" talk for Jimbo begins in earnest.

I know its the off season and all, and I know we keep hearing news about the dysfunctional mess up in Ann Arbor, but this is not the time to get complacent or overconfident. I don't care how bad they are, or how broken they appear to be. I don't care if their entire coaching staff is jumping ship. I don't care if their recruiting classes are sub par or that they have many of their top players leaving via early entry to the NFL or the transfer portal. The focus should be to stomp their asses into oblivion every November, and and soon as that is done to celebrate for ten minutes and then focus on next November. Come on people!

We're not on the team. We can have as much fun with them and revel in their misery all we want, and it won't matter one bit the Saturday after Thanksgiving provided we have the coaches that we think we have.
