It is bad karma to root for other programs to fail, but OSU could really benefit if Texas struggles this year. Mack Brown is on the hot seat and their fans have to be nervous about what A&M is doing.

It is very smart to see the OSU staff building relationships with so many top Texas guys. If things do go south and Brown is replaced, these relationships could be the difference if a new Texas staff has to scramble at the last minute.

In a normal year, not sure we could get a guy as talented as Thomas out of Texas, but there is a slim chance that this year is different.
