That poor kid

I literally laughed out loud in my office and got caught watching that highlight video. Totally worth it.

What an unbelievable commitment and once again, an amazing job by the staff in closing this one. Huge commitment on talent alone, I really do think Browning is the best LB in the country. The quote from Woody on his Twitter also shows that the kid "gets it." Combine that with his talent and we are going to see a legacy created. And you know Okudah is right around the corner now, so you know it is about to blow open. In any event, Kenny G is coming out to celebrate this one:

Been following recruiting since the '02 class. This may be the best LB prospect I've seen OSU land. OSU has landed four 5-star LBs I can think of in that time...Raekwon, Curtis Grant, Mike D'Andrea and Dorian Bell. They all had amazing films...none of which were as good as Baron's if memory serves me correctly. He is a 6-3 230 lbs monster who runs like a free safety. I think Shazier is the former OSU LB that he most closely resembles coming out of high school.

I thought Shazier as well with the way he runs and plays...except he has about 20-30 pounds on him coming out of HS (or it appears). I might say that D'Andrea had a slightly better film but really it is a toss-up and they are completely different players. It is fun to play this game though because regardless, the rest of the country is going to have to deal with Keandre Jones and Barron Browning on the edges for the next 3 years or so.
