Not really, Texas publications don't have that same recruiting website bias when it comes to where kids go to school, IMO. And they also know that OSU has done right by so many TX kids over the years (Barrett, Knox, Dobbins, Okudah, Browning, the Mitchell kids, etc)

The Texas people and publications HATE Ohio State taking kids from Texas. Everybody knows Texas is a proud football state and they get pissed that kids play anywhere else. They can be proud of Texas kids doing well but generally won't admit it. With Herman at UT now we won't get the numbers we did with the Okudah/Dobbins class. "That's life in the big city."

There is so much talent in the state of Texas. UT, aTm, TCU, Baylor, Houston, TT, ect.... aren't keeping them all in state. OU gets a lot of Texas kids too. If we continue to recruit Texas hard and target a small list of kids each year, OSU will still get their share of the kids they want no matter who is coaching the Texas schools.
