Isaac calls 515-yard performance ?irrelevant? after JCA finishes second to Montini

Joliet Catholic Academy's Ty Isaac had the greatest running performance in state championship football history Saturday, but he didn't savor the moment after the game.

Despite the running back's 515 yards on 26 carries and six touchdowns, the Hilltoppers dropped a 70-45 decision to Montini High School in the Illinois High School Association state championship game at Memorial Stadium in Champaign.

I was at the title game, this kid is amazing with the ball. He literally took it to the house almost every time he touched the ball. He probably would have had over 600 yds if he wasn't sharing time with his fellow sr. RB. Montini had no answer for Isaac, and Joliet had no answer for Montinis passing game.

Isaac appeared to have tweaked his knee early in the 3rd qtr and he wasn't the same from then on. The game was over from that point.

Hard decision on who I'd favor between Isaac and green. I might slightly have green higher, but would love either. I'm sure we're only taking 1 RB in this class with us already being stocked with young rbs after getting Dunn and ball, to add with Smith and Hyde as hall will probably be gone by the time this class hits campus.
but Isaac has some great vision and cuts well, I thought he'd be more of a power back from his measurables but is quite quick and shifty. I didn't see hardly any breakaway runs so I wonder if he has elite speed

After seeing his sophomore video, I had kind of the same opinion. But then I saw his junior video on Scout and WOW, this kid looks like the real deal. He had a ton of breakaway runs and looked like a legit blazer along with the other positives you mention.

In my opinion, he is the most impressive 2013 recruit I've seen so far. It's been a while since I've seen a guy his size with the crazy speed and shiftiness that Isaac has.

I like Dunn and Ball, but I'd still go all out for Isaac. He looks like a future star who would fit in any offense. He also seems faster, shiftier and better catching the ball than any of the young RBs OSU has.

He doesnt make too many moves, he's decisive and turns on the jets. I like it a lot.

Looks so much like Eddie George running its scary. We put another O Pace on the front line and get another E George in the backfield and call it a day.
