I don't see how anyone can seriously grade Brad Roby, Travis Howard and Doran Grant as "F" performers. The safeties, maybe, but our corners have played very well this season in my opinion.

Yup. A few times Roby & Howard have had breakdowns, but it's been in contrast to their overall performances.

The safeties have been beyond shaky, at least the starters. OJ has been a pleasant surprise.

Don't know exactly where or why it I do know the D is Not up to par, poor tackling, poor angles, poor coaching or whatever, I do know hat he def. is way below what we expect. But I do know that we look poor, both executin and coaching wise.
One game the offense doesn't execute while the D Looks as if it couldn't stop anyone.
Poor coaching or lack of experienced talent?
I don"t know buy I do know we don't look good, or like atop 20 team.

Pretty young team, new staff, new scheme and all so struggles are to be expected but still frustrating as hell to watch. My biggest overall concern is the attitude/character of the team. They still play like the 2006 Buckeyes more than the 2006 Gators. It's going to take a little while to change that.

Agree Jax, it is important to remember that this is a transition year. I know I struggle with that thought, but it is what it is. I do think the team lacks focus and the "right attitude". It looks like a team very much going through the motions at times. The wrong attitude that I want to see gone in a hurry is the jaw jacking that just shouldn't be there, especially when you are not playing well.

Do the AP pollers even watch the games? OSU moved up two spots to 14.

We should have dropped back at least a few spots.

Trust me whenever we lose they will kill us, but for the time being we are undefeated so they have to keep us up in the poll. Is if fair to drop us below a team that shit the bed and lost to a team they shouldn't have?

As a previous poster said our problems seem to be between the ears, which is better than being physically outmatched. If the new schemes start to click on both sides of the ball we have the talent.

I do have to say that with all of the problems our Buckeyes have in all 3 phases, Sparty is back to being Sparty. Stop/limit Leveon Bell, make Maxwell beat you, and if our offense plays 2 quarters this week, that should be plenty enough.

What's really sad is that this is probably the marquis match-up in the BIG this year - so Gameday will be there. Let's hope the Buckeyes play well with the national focus on them - and that Sparty continues to be Sparty.
