It appears that Tallahassee doesn't exactly have the market cornered on lax policing of athletes

A new ESPN “Outside The Lines” investigation casts the University of Florida and Florida State in a particularly unflattering light when it comes to protecting their athletes who face criminal charges.

The report shows that “from 2009 to 2014, male basketball and football players at the University of Florida and Florida State University avoided criminal charges or prosecution on average two-thirds of the time when named as suspects in police documents.

ESPN sought campus and city police reports from Michigan State, Missouri, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Texas A&M and Wisconsin as well. It has filed suit against the University of Notre Dame and Michigan State University, which has withheld this information. Both cases are being appealed.

The ESPN report states that "Florida, had the most athletes — 80 — named as suspects in more than 100 crimes.........................................

Sadly not surprising to see the Domers refusing to disclose anything

No one, not even Ped State, can circle the wagons like the Catholic church.

FSU keeps a convicted coke dealer on the staff to act as a fixer and liaison to the police department. FSU is really the gift that keeps giving.

For some reason, when I read that, I pictured a guy who looks like this:
