what a loser. He can't come up with his own jokes, so he uses Mililani's. Too funny.

Don't you have a tree to hug, some flowers to pick. The whole world love's you and would do nothing to harm anyone. Methinks you were born about 30 years late.

Wether you like it or not the world is full of hate, and as an American alot of it is pointed toward you. Most of it is jealousy, some of it is because of our foriegn policy, but just wait and see who the first country is that is called when something goes wrong and help is needed. Do you really think that a bomb gives a fuck if you are liberal or conservative, wake the fuck up and try and take a part in protecting yourself and everyone else in this country.

Do you really think that if we were a poor nation like ethiopia or something that anyone would give a flying fuck about us or our foriegn policy?!?!

Yes, I forgot that the best way to feel safe is to cry wolf anytime a group of Arabs is seen on an airplane. No doubt you're angry that you were stupid enough to believe this wacko woman's story without any proof.

You know the beautiful part, if it weren't for people like me an many many many many others, you wouldn't have a pot to piss in. You would be living in Iraqifghanipakifudge with nothing. Your ass is being protected by the same people you seem to hate. If you are truely a doctor why don't you volunteer to go and tour Iraq and fix some of the very same people that are sacrificing thier lives for you, besides it has to be a damn site better than Pittsburgh.

Sorry Tibs, but I think that Snopes has decidedly leftish bias at this time. The most objective view I've found is factcheck.org, and a new one I've encountered is truthorfiction.com but I only ran across that last Thursday or Friday (or something close, it's Saturday night and I've had a few adult beverages :wink2: .)

Like any other group of passengers, the men in the musical ensemble talked to each other, moved around, ate food, and used the restrooms while the flight was in progress.
FWIW, I used to fly each and every week and never witnessed people that congregated away from their seats. Even when I used my airline miles to fly my family and my parents in first class, we were still restrained to our assigned seats.

The following part appears to be taken out of context:

"The lady was overreacting," said the source. "A flight attendant was told to tell the passenger to calm down; that there were air marshals on the plane."
My interpretation of this is that she was drawing attention to herself while describing the scenario to the flight attendant. It appears that she might have been unable to control herself after she was told that the air marshalls were on the plane and were already aware of the situation.

And this part:

"We have to take all calls seriously, but the passenger was worried, not the flight crew or the federal air marshals," she said. "The complaint did not stem from the flight crew."
appears to merely be a bit of PR that tries to keep things calm (as they rightfully should.) The airline and security folks don't want to let the public think that they might have been unconcerned or unaware of such an episode, so they are going to supply the general population with comments that provide confidence.

Anyways, I gotta get back to my beverages and college football!

Buckem- I think Snopes is fine for debunking most urban legends and internet items, however, I think that they show a left-leaning bias when it comes to political matters/rumors. I think that they linked a number of liberal sites to debunk an email sent by someone from the Army about Iraq.

The email was about the good things that were accomplished in Iraq. As it was, although the writer had several errors in his message, he did indeed send it. The main problem was that active personnel are not allowed to send such information (opinion pieces) to be widely circulated.

The factcheck.org has been the most objective and thorough regarding political rumors/matters, since that's all they focus on. I'd suggest that you check out their site sometime and compare their reviews of similar political issues.
