The Jonny Quest episode about the robot spider that came in a flying saucer had jets that looked almost exactly like F-16s scramble after the saucer...that was in 1964, almost a decade before the F-16 was first designed. Lots of jet aircraft artwork in the '50s and '60s looked like and foreshadowed eventual designs...

Still like the gray stripes with the black shoulder numbers, although people losing their shit when JT changed them still cracks me up.
