I'm going to go way, way, way out on a limb, and say that for some reason I think Penn State may be able to knock off Wisconsin. I don't even know why I think that (certainly not logic per se, or recent track record)...I just have that weird feeling that they may have their number this year.

I don't know how upset I would be if Iowa lost this Saturday. After this Saturday, they next play Michigan State at home (should be a win) and then get an off week before Ohio State goes to Iowa. A win this Saturday might give Iowa some confidence and reason to believe they can win the Big 10. A loss might send them on a downward spiral. I guess the same could be said for scUM...but standings in the Big 10 don't matter when it comes to that game in November...but standings will matter in the Ohio State/Iowa game. We'll see what happens!

BN27 - That's almost as laughable. No, seriously, I think the Lions are for real this year, but I don't think Philly overlooks them, and I don't think the Lions can pull that off.

As for the Pac 10 being as good as the B10? Definitely laughable. I fully agree this appears to be a down year for the B10, but the PAC 10 just sucks. I would love to have the #1 B10 team vs. #1 P10 team, #2 B10 team vs. #2 P10 team, etc. My guess is, the B10 goes something like 8-2, or 7-3.

You guys still give the Pac Ten no credit. ASU destroyed Iowa...Wisconsin barely beat the worst team in the pac ten Arizona. You're crazy if you think Stanford will upset SC..Stanford is horrible. Saragian(sp?) has the Pac Ten as the highest rated conference right now. The Big Ten has three good teams OSU, Minnesota, and Purdue, the pac ten has three good teams SC, CAL, ASU.

Your smoking crack kid, Wisconsin is a solid team and so is Michigan. In fact, Wisonsin could beat Cal, who I feel is the flavor of the month. Look at Cal for a minute, they beat USC last year, and put together a little offense against shitty Air Force and New Mexico St., and they become media darlings. ASU is the real deal though, I think they are pretty tough.

Top to bottom the Big Ten is more solid than the Pac Ten, take it to the bank. The PAC Ten has 3 ranked teams, the Big Ten has 5.

Maybe I spoke from the heart instead of the head that goes to be seen, I do truly believe that Wisky would play Cal very tight. I just feel that Cal has that West Virginia vibe about them, that the bubble is about to burst soon.
