Urban F. Meyer (Former OSU, CFB and NFL coach)

Urb coming back to college? He's selling his restaurant.....which would be step 1, I would think. Nobody would go to it if he's the coach of a different team.....and the price goes down if he takes a job before selling vs after.

That won't be at Ohio State. He is pretty much unemployable at tOSU.

Yeah, this was pretty much Ohio State when he quit.

The Meyer era has come and passed, and there won't be a second act.

He has/had two places using his name, Urban Meyer’s Chophouse and Urban Meyer’s Pint House. Only the Chop House is being sold. The Pint House is where his infamous dance was performed.

Urban Meyer running the overall program with Ryan Day being the highest paid OC/ assistant head coach in the history of football makes me turgid.

Not gonna lie.

Why though? It can't be for his coaching hires and Ryan Day is already recruiting at Urb's level. All he'd bring is negative attention back to the program.

Urban Meyer Wants to Return to TV in the Fall

“That’s all still in conversation,” he said. “I love Fox, I love their team, I love their guys. There’s nothing that’s been finalized yet, but yeah I plan on going back and doing it. I really enjoyed that. I enjoy celebrating those who play it [football], celebrate those who coach it, it’s a great game.”

Well, I hope he returns to the Fox Game Day show; ESPN needs the competition. Hindsight is 20/20, but he was a better fit with Fox than he was with the Jaguars.
