Urban F. Meyer (Former OSU, CFB and NFL coach)

My wife had to have the back of her skull cut open and have an arachnoid cyst drained because it was pressing on her spinal cord. I can tell you from personal experience that they can make your quality of life suffer especially with the stress of being a head coach. Doesn’t excuse some of the behavioral stuff that went on during the Jaguars era and wasn’t a good decision to take that job. He didn’t need it.

Just sayin': A lot of outstanding college football coaches for whatever reason just didn't cut it in the NFL, i.e. Nick Saban, Steve Spurrier. Bobby Petrino, Lou Holtz, Dennis Erickson, Chip Kelly, Butch Davis, Greg Schiano, and Urban Meyer, etc.

Urban Meyer returns to Fox Sports after disastrous Jaguars stint

He later called the ordeal "the worst experience I've had in my professional life" and Jaguars players appeared to agree.

Good. Hopefully he stays in a TV role, because he was very good at it. He provided outstanding analysis that the dinks around him couldn't muster. He was a great college coach, but the NFL was a terrible idea from the start. At his age, he should cash the checks from his TV gig and enjoy his grandkids.

Hindsight is 20/20. Yeah, he should have never left FOX, luckily for him he got his old job back.

I feel like Urbs was the equivalent to Lou Brown for the Jaguars and they had a ton of Roger Dorn players on that roster. He got plenty fired up I'm sure with the "Ole shit" and couldn't handle the fact that a lot of them were going to never play for him. 100% should have stayed an analyst where he's extremely good and got paid a stupid sum of money with a hell of a lot less stress.

Nah. Urban just couldn’t wrap his head around parity, let alone that he was entering the league in a position of weakness because the Jags roster is trash. Losing consumes him, and you can’t simply will your teams to victory in The League by yelling louder and making pros run gassers. It was a terrible fit from the start and could only end in him being fired for abusing his players and staff within ten months.

The only surprise to me was that he couldn’t keep a lid on it to make it to year two like Schiano and Saban did. I did not have Urban grinding socialites at his Pint House on my Urban self destruction Bingo card.

However after one of my buddies filed for divorce from his wife and relocated to an apartment in the building where the Pint House is, that neighborhood is 1000 cougars going to bars in their fuck-me pumps and trying to pick up eligible divorcees that can afford to rent $2,400 a month one bedroom apartments whilst also paying alimony and child support… now I kind of understand how Urban finally met an immovable object.

Pussy is undefeated.
