I don't think I'll ever be able to come to terms with the wasted potential of 2015.

I imagine it's the same for you guys that watched 1996.

gmen6981 Just livin' the dream.....a bad, bad dream.

    I wouldn't call 1969 "Wasted Potential" really.
That team steamrolled everybody until disaster struck in Ann Arbor (is a whore)

They had a great team in 2013. But for b.s. officiating early in the season against ND, that team might have won a natty.

Not to read too much into things (OK, probably to read too much into things) but his younger daughter moving to Columbus probably means he isn't leaving anytime soon.

Urban's become Charmin soft. The ugly truth is: Nick Saban hates babies and that's why he's a winner. /s

On the Beat: Family man Urban Meyer showing off softer side at Ohio State

    Austin Ward
    Posted 28 mins ago

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The softer side of Urban Meyer always has been there. Only now, the Ohio State coach is starting to open up and let people see it.

There was the smile on his face that had been there for hours on Selection Sunday last season, and it had nothing to do with the Buckeyes earning another spot in the College Football Playoff. In fact, the Ohio State coach wasn’t even at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center when his team was picked for the four-team field. He breezed in a little later, and what he really wanted to talk about with the handful of reporters who greeted him was his first grandson.

A couple weeks later, he sat on a bench outside a high school after a practice in Phoenix and talked about the family time he’d been spending with the young boy and the Meyer clan, watching movies instead of game film in his down time.

Then last Saturday, he seemed to be floating across the field as he led the Buckeyes into the Horseshoe. Not by coincidence, little Troy was at Ohio Stadium, too, making his first visit. And Meyer made sure he would have plenty of pictures with his grandson, daughter Nicki and son-in-law (and graduate assistant) Corey Dennis for anybody looking to make holiday shopping easier.

“I think I know my Christmas present,” Meyer beamed. “It’s going to be a nice canvas picture of me and my grandson in the Horseshoe.

    “That was awesome.”

Who is this guy? Did he forget that he’s got a reputation as one of the most serious men in college football?

    Cont'd ...

No, you never will. I still wear the '98 loss and remember exactly where I was watching it.

2015 was just...wow. I still can't believe we had at one point one quarterback for between the 20's and one for the red zone. Good God. *cries, pounds fist on table*
