If Meyer goes anywhere, whether it's USC or USF, he will not do it unless Marotti and Pantoni go with him -- and probably Stamper too.

That'd be the real harm to Ohio State.

Yep solidifying him in the "will not root for" category.

He's not old but even if he's thinking of going there what is he really gaining by coaching another 5 years?

IMO there's more to lose for him than gain.

$40M is what he has to gain. USC’s the type of program to dole out that cash over 5. And with Tier 1 rights agreements expiring in 2024, you’d have the flagship program of a starved Power 5 Conference that’s looking to make a splash (and cash in).

Yep because USC has shown to be a huge spender in the past with job openings... I mean they broke the bank to keep Helton and will gladly fork out whatever they own Helton and spend another 40+ on Meyer.....
