Urban F. Meyer (Former OSU, CFB and NFL coach)

Cooper taught us to be wary of these weasels...every year. He also made every victory taste so good. I hate him for so many things, but my love for the last 15 years is largely attributed to the pain..BURY THESE FUCKERS.

We are OVERTAKING them this weekend

The fun of road running in Johannesburg...so many of these characters. There is a spirit in South Africa that is hard to describe, but this captures it well.

And why would Urban leave his cushy FOX gig? Maybe people haven't been paying attention, but Urban is REALLY into it, like he no longer says ESPN or College GameDay, he refers to them as That Other Network and That Other Show.

He's found an outlet to scratch the itch without all the BS that comes along with it. I think he's truly done.

Urban needs a chip on his shoulder to function .ESPN fills that now and don’t think he hasn’t forgot how they treated his suspension.

I agree and Meyer has said the same thing every time. The man has a cyst the size of a fist in his skull. He's happy. No more crap. He sees his kids and he gets to love his Buckeyes. Personally, I am so happy for him.

I'm not sure if he's done. But thinking his next job would be possibly the highest profile job in the NFL.....it's about the dumbest of the dumb Urban rumors out there.

Yeah, that would seem to be a bad fit for Meyer. It’s hard for me to fathom that he is done coaching, but the NFL seems like a bad fit.

Urban basically started this rumor himself on The Herd last month. I was surprised to hear him say it, too.

"Pure speculation, because I know [Riley], but I don't know him like that, but that's the one [job]," Meyer said. "That's the New York Yankees, that's the Dallas Cowboys, that's the one. Great city, you got Dak Prescott, you got Zeke Elliott, you got a loaded team, and I can't speak for [Riley] obviously -- I hate to even speculate -- because I don't know him, that's really not fair, but to me, that's the one job in professional football that you kind of say, 'I gotta go do that.'"

Urban Meyer would 'absolutely' be open to taking Dallas Cowboys coaching job if an offer came his way

It took about 10 seconds to see where this story originates.

Jerry Jones Reacts To Urban Meyer’s Comments On Cowboys Job

Yes he did say that. In spite of that, it STILL makes little sense. I’m sure if you are Meyer you think to yourself SURE,how could I not consider it.

but after you consider it fully, one would think that he would understand how his mentality might not work out in the NFL or specifically at that franchise.
