Urban F. Meyer (Former OSU, CFB and NFL coach)

I liked the tone of his Monday press conference too. Like that he is able to joke, laugh, and smile after a tough Nov win on the road against a team that has been a thorn in our ass over his time at tOSU and after all that has happened this season.

I do believe there was some fire missing from this team early in the season with Meyer not being able to oversee camp and the 1st 3 games. Starting to see some of that emotion and grit that has been eluding them for much of the season, which is a positive sign going down the stretch. There are a lot of weaknesses but I believe inserting B. White has sparked the defense and we're starting to see more fight from O-line and RB's on every play.

Football is a game of emotion and OSU has to play with that emotion to overcome some of their weaknesses to be successful.

Dan Dakich saying that he had an off the air conversation with UM, and he said he was going to go after McTurdy. How so, not sure, but would love to see McTurd and whoever associates themselves with him, lose their pants.
I want this man done reporting. I want to see Brett pay the ultimate price for this bull shit.

I hope it's true and I hope UFM goes after him.

IANAL but Drake's statement certainly starts to tee up the "intentional malice" exception that might let Urban go after this clown: "Reporting in this manner is irresponsible, inflammatory and a severe invasion of privacy of a student athlete and his family as well as a baseless personal attack on Coach Meyer. It is regrettable that McMurphy and his employer would use such poor judgment in running this inaccurate story."

My lawyer brethren on the board can chime in as well but there’s no way Urban pursues this in court. Actual malice is an almost impossible thing to prove. And depositions can open up all kinds of cans of worms. Players would get deposed. Who wants to put them through that for the hope and prayer you would win?

I know people want McMurphy to pay. But as long as his employer tolerates, he’ll continue to get away with this shit.

I agree but what about McMurphy’s statement that he wouldn’t have published this story if Urban wasn’t coach at Ohio State... that add some form of “intent” i guess...
