Urban F. Meyer (Former OSU, CFB and NFL coach)

Sorry to tell you, but it's all the same shit.........ESPN, CNN, ad nauseum. Everybody should know that by now.

There is a forum specifically dedicated to discussing politics. Any discussion of CNN belongs there. Not here.

Listening to the interview with McCrapStain on B1G radio right now on Sirius XM.
Was flat out asked if he saw the stuff on Twitter from Smith.

Guy tersely says, "No. I don't follow Zach Smith on Twitter."

WHAT A LIAR, as there's PLENTY of times that Smith retweeted the story TO the guy.

IANAL but Drake's statement certainly starts to tee up the "intentional malice" exception that might let Urban go after this clown: "Reporting in this manner is irresponsible, inflammatory and a severe invasion of privacy of a student athlete and his family as well as a baseless personal attack on Coach Meyer. It is regrettable that McMurphy and his employer would use such poor judgment in running this inaccurate story."

Pity they didn't come out with language this strong before the season started.
It was obvious most of the controversy was stirred up by McMurphy's editing and post-truth "reporting".

My lawyer brethren on the board can chime in as well but there’s no way Urban pursues this in court. Actual malice is an almost impossible thing to prove. And depositions can open up all kinds of cans of worms. Players would get deposed. Who wants to put them through that for the hope and prayer you would win?

I know people want McMurphy to pay. But as long as his employer tolerates, he’ll continue to get away with this shit.

His employer is a small fish now. Ban them from the University... maybe they will tolerate it; maybe they won't... but it'll hurt them more than the cold war that happened w/ ESPN.

Big Ten schools should unite to deny the Stadium access. They owe Ohio State the favor.

I would have preferred silence from UFM and the University.. why acknowledge Bret/ZS/ TH. Stay out of the mud. I wish the University when this started would have said we support UFM and Gene. No suspension or investigation..no communication from anyone. Just that simple statement. Social media makes people respond to every criticism and it becomes tiring and self defeating.
