USC 45, Oregon 13 (Final)

As far as I am concerned this weekend eliminates several contenders.

Louisville -- (the worst and least qualiified of the bunch) -- ousted by losing to a Directional Florida team. Can we please offiicially declare their conference a total joke,

Enjoy the rest of the season Louisville, goodbye.

Penn State - Balloon punctured?? Looks to me like they are still vulnerable. If only NW had hung tight it would already be over.
So much for the "impregnable" defense.

sCUM -- Oh yeah, down by 3 in front of the Cheese-head Wannabe's

sCUM End of season- I think so.

Lets just walk over these clowns when it is our turn.

And who said strength of schedule wasn't an important factor in the BCS ranking system? If USC or Texas had another tough game this year, or if their opponents were graded accordingly, the college football world might be a very different place.

I can't stand USC and Pete Carroll....completely classless

They're running up the score once again and leaving their starters in when theyre up 5 TD's. Have some class and take your starters out instead of trying to humiliate a conference opponent.

Class and PC -- you expected these to co-exist in the same sentence, let alone the same thought??

How sweet and innocent you are...

There's 7 minutes left. There's no way your opponent can catch you. You're up 38-13. The refs are in your pocket with two weak calls negating Oregon TDs. You leave in Bush, White, Leinart so they can pad their stats despite having potential All-Americans waiting to get in and get experience.

Uhhhmmm.

If you want these guys to be good next year, you get in next year's starters at this point. Forget about padding all these stats.

Now they're up to 44pts. Oregon gave up 3 TDs ago and even began subbing their sophmore QB dixon who looked a lot better than their starter, getting them down to the 30 before Clemens came in and choked again.

It was funny to listen to Fauts be so torn as to homer root for: (A) his favorite team, USC, or (B) his alma mater.

The team that scares me the most is VT. I can see USC and texas Losing a game, LSU us unproven, Florida, struggled against an apparently mediocre Tennessee squad, Florida State.....Please. And Finally Georgia, who's two tough games are against an already exsposed Tennessee team and Florida who has a 50/50 shot at winning. Tech's only test will be Miami ( dare I root for any Florida team) unless WVU can pull off a miracle. If what fear were to come true, the National championship game would be VT and USC, while Texas and OSU would be playing the "REAL" National championship game. Any thoughts?

For Fouts, it's C, whoever is winning, like it always is.

Hey now, there are Heisman trophies to think about, right? I mean certainly Leinart (who Jackson and Fouts agreed, BTW is the greatest college football player ever if USC goes undefeated this year) needs a couple of more notches in his belt so he can shag a few more starlets, right?

Did anyone catch Fouts complaining about a couple bad calls that went against his alma mater. In this case, he was actually correct, but it still brought back Fiesta Bowl memories.
Neither call would've affected the outcome, just maybe the final score. The Ducks had a TD called back on a bogus call on a crack back block that occured after the play was actually over. Ducks didn't score. On USC's next possession, Bush had a spectacular reverse field TD run that was totally fueled by a brutal clip. Fouts screamed to no avail.
