No, you're comparing USC/wazoo to The Game - what I'm saying is that, storming the field, with all its inherent injury/liability issues WILL take place at OSU. To understand why it would take place in Pullman would require our understanding of just how futile that rivalry has been for Wazoo fans.

That was a puzzling hire to me. You mean to tell me USC couldn't do better than a guy who had a 5-4 record as the interim coach? It's also why I found all the talk of USC being a playoff contender this year was laughable. Outside of upsetting UW last year, that win streak was against a very weak Pac-12. All of the hype was based on winning a shootout in the Rose Bowl against the pedtards.

Yes this was another case of a guy and team having a good game and then loads of folks suddenly believe. The San Darnold heisman thing was particularly bothersome to me.

Wazzu police recommending felony charge for USC player who decked field-rushing fan

This situation has taken an almost wholly unbelievable turn.

In the immediate aftermath of Washington State’s upset of USC in Pullman in late September, Wazzu fans in attendance stormed the Martin Stadium field in a celebratory frenzy. Video subsequently surfaced of one Trojans football player, later identified as redshirt freshman defensive lineman Liam Jimmons, decking one of the Cougars fans who had stormed the field.



“The WSU student that got hit has been to the hospital twice for a concussion suffered from the alleged assault,” the television station wrote on its website.

A decision from the Whitman County (Wash.) Prosecutor’s Office on whether to file charges isn’t expected until some point next week at the earliest.

I like Urbans new philosophy of turning down even the most talented players when he senses trouble. All of the sec powers (bama, etc.) and everyone that was desperate to get back to glory (ttun, usc) in the rest of the country offered. No Ohio state offer.
