This is what I mean. Auburn came into the season with an experienced, highly regarded team, and hosted USC. USC was also highly regarded, but much less proven, having lost Heisman Trophy winner Carson Palmer and AA Troy Palomalu (sp?) and others. USC came in and won decisively, and I think even shut out Auburn and its vaunted running attack.

I think the same thing would happen this year on a neutral field, as Auburn would have a tough time scoring and stopping USC from scoring.

So what? They also ran the table in the toughest conference in the nation. I thought this before tonight, and it's been affirmed. I think Auburn's better than Oklahoma. At least they play some damn defense.

Why do you think the SEC is thoughest conference in the nation. The SEC only went 3-3 in their bowl games just like the Big 10. But the Big 10 went 2-1 against the SEC. The SEC is all hype.

Depth. I feel the SEC is just slightly deeper with quality teams this year than the Big Ten or ACC. I'll admit it's a completely subjective statement on my part, but this is a sport with a completely subjective championship, so I don't really care.

48-10, usc leads with 13 minutes remaining, 4th quarter. OU QB white just got intercepted for 3rd time tonight by usc. usc has scored on most ou t/o's tonight. usc controls almost every facet of tonight's game. OU can't do anything correct, or so it seems.
