Ok, as some of you may know already, I've never been on a vacation. Only left the state twice (to see the Indy 500) and been to Cleveland a couple of times.

I finally have a little bit of money saved up and am thinking about going on a vacation. Right now I have around 800 bucks, but I could have a little more by the time spring rolls around. I need your help finding a good place to go.

What I'm looking for:
  • Better weather than Ohio
  • Lots of fun activities
  • Lots of booze
  • Good food
Like I said, I only have about 800 bucks at the moment, so I won't be able to spend much more than that all together (flight, hotel, food/drinks, activities, etc.). I was looking at some all inclusive trips to the Bahamas but those seem like they're a little out of my price range. I was also looking into Ireland, but that's just as expensive. What do you suggest?

Shit... if you only want to spend 800, and still have a good time... go almost see 21 in Myrtle... its kind of lame, but it does pretty much meet all of your requirements and you can get a good fare on Hooters Air... and still have plenty of cash to blow on stuff once you get there. And you can work on your golf game... :wink2:

'NOLA ought to be cheap as well? I'm sure they've been getting nuts on Bourban Street for a while by now.

you could come down here to Siesta Key... we are in season so prices are a little higher than normal but you don't have to stay on Siesta Key... you could stay in Sarasota or Bradenton. Lots of Bars, Beaches and nightlife down here this time of year.

Oh yeah, I should've mentioned that I won't be able to do any traveling until after the new year when I have vacation time again.

I could always stay at your place and use the money that I would've spent on a hotel for more alcohol LoKy. :wink:

I guess knowing some of your tendencies I would suggest Key West.:wink2:

Or since you have been to the Indy Fi Hunnert, and may be interested in motorsports you could go down to Daytona for Speed Week. You probably could not find a place with more partying than there at that time. There is some sort of racing going on at the track every day, and if you camp out by the track it will only cost you about 25 bucks a night. If you don't want to camp you can find some cheap places along the strip. Plus if you hang around some of the parties nearby you can probably drink for nothing if you hook up with the right people. I have spent an entire week down there for less than 500 bucks (and that includes titty bars)

you're more than welcome to stay at my place... you'll have to put up with two 3 years olds, a 1 year old, two cats, 1 dog and my wife. :)

actually you could stay with my parents in their guest room... they have pool :wink:

i just got back from the bahamas 2 weeks ago. you looking at nassau or freeport? i was in freeport and can't speak much on nassau. personally, i wouldn't go there for anything other than the scuba diving. that is absolutely beautiful and i can recommend exactly who to go for if that is what you are interested in. if not... its a cool place and alot of fun. but i think its going to be a bit over your budget.

I'm not exactly sure what I'm interested in either. This girl that I met over the weekend mentioned going on a vacation together sometime, and since I've basically never been out of the state I thought it was a pretty good idea. I do know that if we do go on one there will be lots and lots of monkey sex happenin, and a lot of boooooooozin.

I almost saw 21 in Myrtle last summer and it was a good time :p but not really a party place the few times I've been there. Probably my fault for not trying.

Cancun is a good time. Last time I was there some of the bars had all you can drink specials for $10 a night (probably more now). If you're going in the spring you could hit spring break Panama City Beach. that was a great time when I went there. Just be sure to take plenty of beads and a digital camera so you can post pictures here. If you're just looking for a good time I would go someplace during spring break.

I'd say Vegas or Cancun. Or a Buckeye Bowl trip to Arizona or Miami.
