Former Ohio State basketball standout Evan Turner had his No. 21 raised to the rafters at Value City Arena on Tuesday night during a halftime ceremony at the Michigan-Ohio State game. Turner, the 2010 national player of the year and No. 2 pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, averaged 15 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.7 blocks in his three seasons in Columbus. During his memorable 2010 season, Turner averaged 20.4 points, 9.2 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game while leading the Buckeyes to a 29-8 record and a first-place tie among the Big Ten standings.
