Looking to install Kodi on my laptop, potentially a fire stick as well, and am looking for some VPN recommendations.

Thanks!!

Ha.....I spent almost all of Friday night/Saturday researching VPNs for the same exact reason. I settled on NordVPN. You can do a 3 day trial which I'm in the middle of trying to set up right now. I'm struggling with installing OpenVPN on my raspberry pi......and the kiddo just got up from his nap, so the project goes on hold for the 100th time.

I've used Private Internet Access before with good results, especially with using a gift card as payment and throw away email if you really want to be anonymous with little trail back to you. I'm using proXPN now, for a one-time fee with a lifetime subscription. Both work great, proXPN works 100% of the time as intended with better speeds than PIA. Neither one saves/shares logs of usage in case they are subpoenaed as well.

I'm not an expert in a lot of the technical aspects of VPNs, but those two options have worked well for me.

Jwins and I were talking about little bit about this. I saw this deal and was curious as well:

My brother-in-law does Kodi but I don't think I'm ready for that. I'm a novice. I think I'm going to go Roku/Sling with an HD Antenna. Already have Netflix, Hulu, HBO, etc.
I've seen a few lifetime deals now. I can't shake the feeling of 'too good to be true' from those. But they were definitely the catalyst to me researching VPNs more.

ProtonVPN, a sibling of Protonmail. They have a free option if you want to try before you buy.

Have used free Protonmail for sensitive financial data for years. Highly recommend.
