Way Too Early 2020 Polls

Was surprised to see Texas A&M only at 19. USA Today not drinking the SEC Kool-Aid enough.
Their non-conference schedule is the equivalent of putting the difficulty setting on easy and then entering the cheat code for God mode.

USA Today. Needless to say, tsun and tejas are BACK! Now you might say that 12 and 14 aren't truly back, but it's far higher than either of those two teams deserve to be and would be if they had different names.
Tom Herman is a real-life Shooter McGavin and there's a decent chance the team quits on him next year. He will have at least 1 WTF loss, probably 2. And he will probably do something that embarrasses the university.

But he fired most of his staff and the replacements have been solid to very good so far. Surprisingly. And outside of the top 2 receivers, almost everyone is coming back. Finally, he does tend to pull stuff out of his rear when no one is expecting much of him. I'd put the O/U at 10-4, so #14 sounds about right. But 7-6 would not shock me, and neither would 12-2.

I would be shocked if UT didn't play LSU pretty close to start off the season. A win is asking too much, but they'll be breaking in a new QB, and while I'm certain Brady is a great coach, there's a good chance the next guy struggles a little bit to start off the near.

Florida's might be worse

East Washington
South Alabama
New Mexico State
Florida State (forget the name recognition, they are going to be bad again next year)

Only 9 SEC teams in his top 30. Herbstreit says, "hold my beer."

I doubt anyone who has Ole Miss and Missouri in their top 30 can explain why other than "SEC!!!!"

Ole Miss was completely awful last year minus the running QB........if you think Kiffin is going to come in and change that, lol.

Missouri is about as meh as it gets, they were awful down the stretch (1-5 in the last 6, Arkansas saved them from going 0-6) Kelly Bryant was mediocre but the guy who will be replacing him looked much worse in the times when he saw action.

Shit like this is why I believe there should be a constitutional amendment banning polls of any kind until at least week 6. People/Idiots in the media are going to see this and start to think "Hmm, Texas A&M is apparently going to be really good this season..." and then for absolutely no reason at all, they'll end up camping in the top 10 all season, despite losing 4 or 5 games.

A&M might win 9 games this year, not because they are great or anything but because their schedule is ass. They will of course be talked up as a great team though.

Theyll lose to Auburn, Bama & LSU......their schedule besides those 3 though

Abilene Christian
North Texas
Colorado
Arkansas
Miss State
Fresno Sate
South Carolina
Ole Miss
Vanderbilt

Thats a collection of teams that are all liable to finish with under 6 wins.
