wdg01 - oh8ch private bet

Now that you both placed your bets, you *should* be able to close the event and not accept any more wagers.

The issue currently is that if someone else jumps in, there's no clean way to boot them out. Which is why eventually we'll need some custom coding in there.

Ive got a question...not really related to h2h betting but....I noticed that if you have all your money riding on 1 bet like the lance winning bet...you should have $0, but then a new item comes up for betting i get an additional $25. Right now this isnt a problem as there arent that many new bets taking place, but when football season starts i could potentially exploit it when there are going to be multiple bets being put up.. for instance

I place all my money ($500) on the bucks to win.
Then a new item is put up so i put $25 on the favorite, and then another and another and another....this could go on for ever..so even if i lose all my initial $500, i could still come out ahead with all the little $25 bets that i enter...is there anyway to solve that problem?

perhaps it should be set up so you simply go into debt with negative $

this would also allow for someone to continue betting once their cash was all gone without having to reset everyones amounts, and better keep track of who is REALLY bad at this, or allow someone to pull themselves out of the whole?

I don't think its possible to go negative. If you could, then you could just bet an unlimited amount of money...
