Two threads on MgoBlow about it. Each is 2-3 pages long. Haven't seen one poster question how they could possibly play this week with such a bad COVID outbreak. Come to think of it, don't think I've seen one thread discussing the outbreak or their concern for the health of so many affected players and staff.

Iowa would have beat Indians easily enough.
But this is all about Kevin Warren making a shameless money grab at Iowa’s expense. This way, both Indiana and Iowa are probably guaranteed wins, boosting the conference overall while practically ensuring Iowa won’t get to a prestigious New Years bowl.

I think its a crock
It’s a lose-lose game for Iowa after clearly being the 2nd best in the West this season. I wanted to see how they did against a Top 15 team, possibly get ranked in the Top 10 with a win. Playing Michigan doesn’t move the needle for me at all. The only plus is a night game in mid-December at Kinnick

They could’ve had 1-loss Colorado play USC, but I guess they wanted somebody from the North.
