Week 5 CFB Open Thread

My early take while the Big 10 hasn’t played a game, I hope the country realizes how bad the rest of these conferences actually are.

We’re getting a spotlight on the Big12, ACC and yes, the SEC. Big 10 teams can play just as good/poorly as they do.

I think it's just going to be confirmation that there is a top 3-4-5 some odd teams again this year and a huge gap to everyone else.

The everyone else is at an all time high of parity (or even parody, depending on how you look at it).

It does not appear that the B12 has any of those 3-5 elite teams. :lol:

Can’t remember the year, but Iowa was preseason #1 and then proceeded to lose their first two games.
For the AP poll, the only time Iowa was preseason #1 was in 1961, and they started 4-0.

The only other years they reached AP #1 were 1960 and 1985, and they started those years 6-0 and 7-0, respectively.
