They'll be hard pressed to lose three with that schedule...

Minnesota, maybe.. but probably not at the worlds largest outdoor toiletbowl
Iowa, maybe, but I just don't believe in Iowa this year.. I"ve been wrong before, but boy they lost a lot.
MSU - they can always bite Michigan even when they shouldn't

OSU, obvioulsy...

I'd say Michigan should be undefeated when they come to the shoe, realisitically..

Their two toughest games will be Iowa and OSU. I hate to say it, but based on the players they have returning and their very favorable schedule they could be looking at a top year and a legitimate run at a NC.

513... those are the same games I picked. I don't think they will lose all three but I think those will be their hardest games. If Minny's defense shows up this year and their offense can perform like they did last year against them it could be an upset by the Gophers. I believe the game in AA this year so that will make it that much tougher for an upset.

The obvious answers would probably be, in order of most likely to least likely, OSU, Iowa, and Minny. I don't see UM losing those two home games, though. To me, Michigan often starts out the season kind of shaky, and gets stronger as the season goes on. I would pick at Purdue (even though they lost a lot of defense), but it's late enough in the season that I'd give UM the edge. So for my wildcard, even though I don't think ND is very good, I'll look for Michigan drop a dud at South Bend.

In my opinion, they won't be able to have as much sucess on offense this year as they did last year without Perry.

Besides us and Iowa, I think Ty will rally the Irish troops to beat Lloyd and Co.
Damn that means I have to root for ND. It would be nice to face SCum if we both made it to The Game at 10-0. Hey, you think Gameday would go to that one? :tongue2:

Notre Lame - A battle of apathy will not be won by either team but lost by scUM.

Iowa - A well coached team always spanks Lloyd and the boys early in the season.

Ohio State - Nuff said. Patterson & Pitcock will spend more time in the scUM backfield than any of the "RB by committee" that will be in effect by the end of the season after no one can get the job done.

In my opinion, Michigan's success running the ball last year was due more to the O-line than to Perry. The one thing that worries me about them this year, more than the receivers, is that their O-line should be tough, once again.

If he loses 3 games with that schedule, "Baby-Rattle" Carr will get his ass fired. There is no way they lose 3 of those, given the games they have at home. OSU and Iowa are stiff tests to be sure, but there is no other team there that should give them any problems.
