What are you currently watching on TV?

Last season of The Americans just started.

I also went two episodes into something on Amazon called Strike Back. If you like Tom Clancy stuff (I don't) you'll love it. If you're expecting something more along the lines of LeCarre, you'll be bitterly disappointed.

Why do they always show Moses on Easter weekend? Why not the Robe or the Passion of Christ or something that’s actually around the life and death of Christ?

They did show the passion on some random channels yesterday. But I'm guessing the movie gets shown only once a year for the same reason It's a Wonderful Life only pops up once during Christmas, copyright money.

Passover? Maybe they aren't entirely airing it for Christians. Or, origin story for the Last Supper? The holidays frequently coincide, but not all the time as they once did. (Blame the Council of Nicaea for the confusion.)

TCM always runs an assortment of Ben Hur, King of Kings, etc. on Easter--they throw in a little Fred Astaire Easter Parade, too.

Trying to get into Westworld. Some of you guys liked it, yes?
i think the show is exceptional. great and largely unique storyline with so much room to grow. complex. solid acting. the production value is probably outpaced by only game of thrones. the second season looks to be off the hook, as the kids say today.

if you're not into after the episode 3, though, i wouldn't continue. heck, the first episode should be enough to determine whether you're going to be a fan or not.

Totally agree. It was literally one of my favorite seasons of TV ever, but I also understand it's not for everybody. The production, music and blue-chip cast (I especially loved Jeffrey Wright's performance) are all amazing, though - and I bet it's even more fun bingeing without having to speculate about all its mysteries for a week between each episode.

15 minutes in, and I was rooting for the robots. Does that mean anything?
