What are you currently watching on TV?

Watching this bit of straight to DVD grandeur on plutotv. It's the complete package: no budget, a terrible script full of holes, incompetent directing and editing and 80s porn movie levels of bad acting. In fact, one of the characters in a cheesy mustache led me think out loud, "I wonder what porn studio they found him at." In other words, it's great.

Season 3 finale of Westworld... this really is one of my all-time favorite shows. Soooo many great performances, and now Marshawn Lynch is a bonafide HBO Actor too.
Also, I have watched the first few episodes of HBO’s new show RUN with the wife, and we’re both enjoying it pretty well. Peppy, suspenseful little half-hour episodes, and General Hux is a surprisingly spry leading man. (May the 4th be with you)

I've been trying to watch Extraction on Netflix, and I'm 47:22 in, but Woody Damn, this thing sucks Harbaugh's balls. The over the top Jason Bourne close combat shit was bad enough, but now you smack a guy straight on with a 3 ton lorry, and he gets up to continue the fight. I don't care what kind of badass Indian special ops guy you were, but physics is still physics. Force equals mass times acceleration, and if that three ton lorry trucks your ass you have shattered bones, displaced joints and severe internal injuries. You do not get up to continue the fight. You do not pass GO and collect 200 rupies.
Physics only applies to trucks. Lorries are limey pussy vehicles that don't hurt people.

Anyone into The Last Kingdom on Netflix? I know it’s nowhere near as good as GoT but if you squint hard enough...
Yes! I have really enjoyed the series. It took forever for this season to show up. I had pretty much given up on it.

The action is very good and the story line has a good blend of historical basis to it, which I like.

amc's top four dramas since the mid-00s is crazily good, especially for a cable network. don't think any network from any 15-year stretch comes close to rivaling the quartet of breaking bad, mad men, better call saul, and halt and catch fire. and the funny thing is, while the first three shows get all the awards and recognition, my favorite is halt and catch fire. best character development of any show i've watched. right behind would be mad men. heck, right behind them might be breaking bad.

Yeah I enjoy it as well. The plotlines are ... strange ... but really compelling. People are switching sides all the time. Maybe that's more realistic.
