What Brands Are You Loyal To?

Samsung for tv and phones, but definitely not washer/dryer or other appliances.
New Balance for running shoes.
Adidas for any cleats.
Under Armour and Nike for athletic attire.
North Face for all winter gear minus gloves because I am tired of losing feeling in my fingers.

Alright.

Let's see.

Running shoes, was new balance, beat my feet to death so now Salomon because of fit.

Winter gear - marmot or black diamond (though there seems to be a lot of Spyder and columbia shit lying about)

Sport eyewear. - Smith Optics (so, I have a problem in this space according to my wife but whatever).

Outdoorsy GPS analytics type shit -. Had a little Garmin and and bigger Garmin on some boats. Didn't like them that much. Tried Lowrance and a Suunto watch, and... Transition back to Garmin. Just got a fenix and about to get an edge here when I decide which one I need.

Non sport shoes, just because you wear doc martens doesnt mean youre punk rock

Walleye lures: reef runner. Swim baits, big joshy or venom. All Ohio companies.

Bike tires: continental

Ski Boots: Salomon, bindings marker... Oddly skis... I have 3 pairs, I hate them all.

Fishing reels: saltwater Penn, freshwater Shimano or pflueger. See the previous post on St Croix rods. I say all that but if I'm getting into shit I'm not sure about, the second rod I take with me is a piece of shit Cabela's 6 footer with an abu cardinal reel... I dunno why.

Phones: Motorola and oddly laptops Lenovo and oddly they are the same thing now.

Outdoor power equipment: Dolmar, but it usually says Makita on them now. Powers tools, separately Makita (pro stuff) except saws, Skil

Inline 6 engines BMW, V-8 Ford. Marine engines, Mercury/Mercruiser

Swim goggles : TYR

Bought the Rucksack No. 21 laptop bag in 2015 after buying a 13" MBP. Best laptop bag I've ever owned. Entering year six of daily carry and not a stitch unraveled. Leather still looks great. No tarnish on any of the hardware. The weight I'm subjecting this thing to as an over the shoulder sling is ridiculous, and it's still held up. As the person who referred me to the brand claimed, 'they don't get worn out, just worn in.'

Been loyal ever since. Sweaters, pullovers, down coats, I buy quite a lot of my autumn, winter, and trekking gear from Fjallraven.

Now, there's a review I can use.

All over the world, depending on the product line. The mass-market stuff like the popular Kånken book bag is made in Vietnam. Some of the more upscale products, like the Rucksack No. 21 I own have fabrics and leather sourced from all over and are stitched in Finland.

I mean, even the fistful of complimentary Swedish Fish they toss into the box from the US distribution center are made in Ontario.

NEVER buy Samsung appliances. Usually last just long enough for the warranty to run out before shit starts to go wrong. Had an LG TV go bad after a year and a half. Got a new Samsung at Costco, but it included the extra 5 year warranty. Had an LG phone brick at 11 months, but at least the warranty still covered it. Pixil 2 died at 13 months and was SOL.
