What does it take to win a NC?

Great Defense

Mistake-free offense or high powered offense that can mix up the run and pass.

Good punting and kicking.

Great game preparation.

Favorable schedule

and luck !!!

That guy in the article pretty much summed it up.

2002
Stop the Run-nobody ran on us that year (and we blew McGahee's knee when he got rolling........)

Turnovers-just look at the Miami and Penn State games. No turnovers-we lose-period.

Luck-"Holy Buckeye" works maybe 3 or 4 times out of 10,IMO. The Bearcat drops the ball in the endzone, Sean Taylor holds onto the ball after the INT instead of getting stripped by Reecie-you gotta take the breaks where they come

Nice to see an article based on documented facts and free of spin and hype. Coming from that source I would say this is officially a shocker.

Oh, how it must have pained him to not only hear all of those positive comments regarding OSU, see the numbers back up the comments and then have to put it in print.

Not sure what you're talking about. Stewart Mandel is one of the better internet CF guys out there. He's not going to kiss the Buckeyes asses, but he's no Tim Brando or Dennis Dodd either.
