What golf clubs do you use?

Semper Fi!
Since everything I owned was stolen last week - I wanted to see if there were strong opinions one way or the other on any particular brand of irons/woods/putters that you use....

I was thinking about trying the R7's since they are only around 400 and I think the Callaway x-18's are the same price at Dick's Sporting Goods.

I'll probably get another Cleveland Hi Bore driver since that was the best driver I have ever used...mis-hits still went down the middle.

I tried a 2 ball putter and that was awesome compared to the old ping zing I had from probably 20 years ago.

Go to Golfgalaxy.com and look at thier green savers from last year. I think I have a coupon still for like $50 bucks off from there also if you want it it's yours I don't plan on spending $300 there anytime soon

I have a set of Ping I 3's I've been using for the last 8 years. Depending on your skill level, Ping irons are a very foregiving club for your typical 15-25 handicappers (bogey golfers). You should be able to find a lightly used set for less than $300. I play 10-15x per year and mine still look like new.

I bought a R7 driver and 3Wood last year and hit the cover off the ball last fall, better than I've ever hit any other driver. Still working the kinks out this year going from baseball to golf every weekend. I recommend going to a place like golf-smith where they will let you tape a few drivers and irons up off the shelf and go with the brand that feels the best in your hands. If you are particular like I am, get fitted for a custom set so the clubs fit your swing-type. If you plan to spend more than 300 bones on a new set of irons, spend the extra $ to get a set that fits you just right.

I am a big Taylor Made fan for most of my clubs along with Cleveland Wedges and Odyssey putters....I do have a Big Bertha 3W that I am looking to replace with one of the newer bore style ones. Definitely get a rescue wood....one of the best purchases I have made....

I typically play Bridgestone E6 or Titelist ProV or Titelist NXT golf balls
