What is the best Chinese food around Columbus?

It's not Chinese but Lac Viet on Bethel is really good.

They aren't messing around... that's for sure.

Oddly, I think that's right across the street from Panda Inn... which... IIRC, we could run with Kyle's comments about getting the fish from Buckeye Lake (cough hoover cough).

I actually used to go there quite a bit a long time ago... a few owners ago, and I have no idea what its like now but the Chinese (as opposed to the Americanized) was really excellent... actually it was the best of both worlds, really good authentic if you wanted, pretty good Americanized and still could get the flaming Aku Aku Punch bowl... not actually for 2. Now, @wadc45, that is a cocktail made with precision, not this hippie BS you're always drinking at home.

Saigon Asian Bistro, kind of hidden at 23 & Powell, is a new family favorite for us. Apparently it is run by the same family as Lucky House in Westerville, which has great Chinese food but is kind of run-down, and the eat-in ambience and service at Saigon are quite good. Some of the best War Su Gai I've had, and as with Lucky House, the sizzling rice soup is great.
