What LB would you like to see the Buckeyes land?

  1. Rico McCoy - Washington DC

  2. Andre Mathis - Erie PA

  3. Brian Cushing - Oradell NJ

  4. BJ Travers - Westlake OH

  5. Brandon Long - Canton OH

  6. Taalib Tucker - Westlake GA

  7. Gerald Williams - Lauderdale Lakes FL

  8. Player Not Listed - Daniels and Lenix not listed because they "may" end up at Safety

I'd like Cushing, but I think that we get Mathis - not a bad second choice (no. 4 player in Pennsylvania).

Great films on Cushing. Pretty fast for a LB. Would look real good opposite of Marcus Freeman.

I'd like to get Cushing for 2 reasons. His talent, and to get some NJ recruiting going with Hazell.

Yea, you can feel that some good things are going to happen with Hazell. More than likely it will take a few years to really estabolish himself at the new school. It took Daniels a few years to estabolish himself in PA, but he came through big time last year. This year appears to be Fickell's coming out party. Hopefully, Hazell's will soon follow.

I picked McCoy because I like those 210 lb guys who can just fly around and kill people, like Ray Lewis, Jonathon Vilma, and Cie Grant his senior year.
  7. Chewbacca

McCoy because he's a punishing tackler. Mathis was a close second.

I know that Cushing and McCoy are the main ones for now, but just wait till the season starts, I have a feeling we'll be hearing from more stud LB's.IMO

I picked Mathis. Good size/speed combo, and plays for a great school in Erie Cathedral Prep.

Home-grown Travers. I like to stay in state when we can. :oh: :io:

I gave the nod to Cushing seeing as he's an absolute freak (6'3", 225, sub-4.5), is a 5-star recruit, and supposedly had a shuttle time as fast as Justin King. Right behind him I had Brandon Long, because his physique is nearly identical (6'3", 235) and is nearly as fast (4.57), plus he's from Ohio and can play TE if need be.
