If they have old TV shows here are a couple

MR. Show - Sketch comedy from HBO highly underrated funny shit

Old SCTV - I have been getting these from the Library. They have about 8 discs out of the really old shit with Candy, Levy, Moranis, Flaherty etc. That was some funny shit.

Chappelle Show - funniest show on TV presently (Arrested Development is good too)

Someone please explain to me what anyone's ever seen in the movie Signs? Maddox did a review on it that summed up my thoughts and added another, and I'd link it but school doesn't allow me there.

The entire water thing? What horseshit. HELLO? Would the human race ever attempt to invade/inhabit a planet that's 80% HCl? With HCl vapor in the air? M. Night Shamylan has disappointed me ater Unbreakable and The Sixth Sense.

Now--onto good movies that are rentable.

Intolerable Cruelty. What a great Cohen Bros. flick. While you're at it, pick up O' Brother Where Art Thou and The Big Lebowski. If you're feeling in the mood for a more raw flick by Joel and Ethan--Blood Simple is a great choice.

K-Pax, Snatch, The Last Samurai, The Devil's Advocate. All movie's I have watched again recently and still enjoyed.

I HATED "Signs" for many of the same reasons. The movie was just simply not even mildly spooky or realistic in any way.

I actually liked "The Village". To me, it really speaks to the unjustified fear of the unknown and of advancement in civilization. I noticed a lot of parallels to the modern day amish and the talents, hopes and dreams that are buried due to a religion founded in stubborn and fear-based ideals rather than using technology for good. I suppose I am probably looking too deep into the movie, but, while not a blockbuster by any means, I thought it was worth watching.

The Village was the worst fucking movie I've ever watched. If I ever see that M. Knight Shaymalan motherfucker I'm gonna plant my foot so far up his ass that he won't be able to walk for a month!

I want those 2 hours of my life back!

I watched Metallica: Some Kind of Monster last night. Really interesting look at the band and how they had a psychologist work with them while they made St. Anger. Funny to see how full of shit they really are... you can really see why St. Anger sucked.

Tonight: Alien vs Predator
