FACE IT, is it any mystery why EDDIE George, Orlando Pace, Joey Galloway, Ron Springs, Bobby Hoying, Terry Glenn,etc.. etc.. went to OHIO St. from 1993-1996?? Its because they WERE told by Cooper that they would get to play the IRISH !!! PERIOD. Just look at their recruiting the 5-10 years prior to that and since.... Not exactly the #1 draft pick laced contingent that they had during those years

Classic ND logic...tOSU had ND scheduled so players flocked to the Buckeyes for a chance to play ND? :huh:

He does have a good point though. All Coop had to do was make them guys realize that Notre Lame had two bigtime whoopin's headed their way, and that was enough to keep them out of South Bend.

And by Notre Lame logic (that school obviously produces our nations best and brightest!) what are we to believe Cooper told the recuits who comprised this year's record-setting NFL draft class? Did he say, "Screw Army, come to OSU b/c Notre Lame isn't on the schedule, because if you had to play them you'd get schooled!" Go fu*k yourself!

I think it is safe to say that Notre Shame fan has lost all grasp of reality. Okay, I can understand a player wanting some payback against a program that maybe he thought should have offered him, but did not. But to think that all those players came to OSU just to play Shame twice in a four year period is crazy.

It is kind of sad really, to see their fans have fallen to levels like this. Is there no hope for them anymore?
