Which CB Will Replace Fox?

DCBuckFan

Fark You
CB Shuffling

With Fox being out for 4-6 weeks, does this signal the end of seeing Ginn on Offense, so he can speed his development at CB as we are a little thinner than we were a week ago there (no offense at all to Ashton et al)?

What does the two deep know look like now...

Underwood and Youboty, then Jacobs and who?? Ginn? Brandon Underwood? Mike Robert's??? Does Whitner fill in?

Hopefully we don't need to worry about who the 4th CB is, but definitely something to think about.

IMHO Ginn has got to move to defense now, and spend more of his time there. I don't know if they could put him in a Gamble type rotation where he has a limited number of plays, but if anything I see that type of rotation, or nothing. We need him on defense, after Youboty I don't like our CBs.

I think Ginn and Whitner need to start working at CB to give us depth. We have other receivers who can fill in for the reps that Ginn is getting on offense (i.e. Hall, Gonzo, Hollins, and the freshmen if they aren't redshirting). Whitner can still get his time at safety and nickle, but I think we need him as the backup at boundary corner. To me it looked like Underwood and Youboty were in every snap after Fox went down. Until I see other guys on the field the only backup DB's I trust are Whitner, Mitchell, and hopefully Ginn.

Akron you are just being stupid, or are you really that dumb. The pass coverage was not worse when Fox left. In fact I think it might have been slightly improved. I am one of those who thinks that Fox is weak in coverage and should have been playing safety this season. I also don't think you kick someone when they are down, that is why I have tried to stay quite on the subject. Fox was playing better this season, but I still don't think he was one of our two best cover corners, he should have played Everett's position.

The one touchdown drive that the Marshall offense made on their own, (one was a defensive score, and both the missed field goal and other TD were set up by Zwick throwing into double coverage), Fox was in, and it was clear that they were picking on Fox and Carpenter. If you are really that blind, then you have no right to call me a racist, because you are probably late for your white surpremist meeting right now.

Fox may play CB on Sunday's, in the Arena League.

Where this really hurts us is depth. We loose some with Fox not in there, which really hurts. Also Fox was the vocal leader of the defense from what I saw, so we will miss that.

Gosh, that was Fox who blew coverage and gave up the TD pass in the 4th qtr. How could I have missed that?

Do you get your cookies off calling people names? Is this how you try and show the world you are a big, tough guy? The only dumbass here is the person with the Fox obsession.

No if it were Fox he wouldn't have blown the coverage, he just wouldn't have been able to stop it.

Give me a break.

When Fox was in did Marshall have a 3 and out?

Dumbass.

Killer please explain how MU was picking on Fox?

The corners' only job on the bubble route is to fight outside and force the play inside...anything else is icing.

Please enlighten me with your knowledge. Are you ready to move EJ too since he had a PI call? If he would have found the ball he wouldn't have drawn the flag...dammmit let's move him he can't do it!! :roll2:

I have no obsession about Fox, but you all have an obessesion of puting him up as the next Deion Sanders. The fact is he is not that good of player at CB. That has been my only point, it is not an obsession, I don't root for him to fail. If anyone has an obsession it is all of you who defend him to the end as he continues to fail to be the best option at Cornerback. I would be happy if it would just go away, but the dumbasses with an obsession like you and Akron and whoever else keep bringing it up.

I tell you what go get a dress and some ribbons for you hair, and have a cheerleading sweater made up that says Fox on the front. Then you could truly be happy. I however will continue to root for the Buckeyes, not just the great white hope.

Wheres all the buckeye fans that always bad mouth Fox as a cb. The pass coverage was a joke after he was injured.

Fox will be playing on sundays:)

I never badmouthed Fox, but to say the pass coverage was a joke is bs.
Marshall had 3 passes all say that were 10 yds or longer. If that's a joke, then you're a dope.

Go back to Bucknuts.

Your little game of name calling is a terrible attempt to cover your lack of football knowledge. Stay on the couch and leave the actual football discussion alone. You are a joke.

but you all have an obessesion of puting him up as the next Deion Sanders.
I have heard that one alot:roll2:

I guess JT is in on this great white conspiracy too. I mean 30 + starts???

Who keeps bringing up Fox - YOU! I mentioned him ONE TIME ince I have been posting here, and I have the obsession. LOL!!! And I suppose you were rightfully chosen to be the enlightening force for all of us who only saw our first football game next week. You don't root for him to fail - you merely get pleasure if he does fail, and you are not even intelligent enough to discern if he has failed.
