Despite having two receivers drafted I think this may be as strong a unit as we have had.

OL is similar. Experience issues but talent as deep as I can recall (3 five stars on the roster with no indication any of them are not legit).

RB gives me some concern. But if Dobbins stays healthy there is enough depth - particularly if the QB play is what it has the potential to be.

As for the D - I have always been a Schiano fan. But last season we saw some of the worst Defensive schemes ever. The group that felt this the most was the LBs. The talent is there. I have confidence that this group will be an absolute strength this season.

The DL has the most depth at tackle in my lifetime and DEs to match.

Secondary may have some questions, but there are lots of potential answers. And again they were victims of schematics last season.

As for coaching - I like this staff better than any Meyer put together. There is nobody on the staff that isn't there based on merit. Mattison was an interesting hire, but I see his role more as the "assistant coach whisperer" and an answer to rumored infighting among coaches last season. He could be perfect for that. We don't need elaborate schemes. We need to exploit the size and speed we have.

I will go with QB as my biggest concern - purely from the issue of depth. If Fields is what he is and stays healthy this could be a team without weaknesses. If - knock on wood - we need to go deeper, not so much - and it could push us to a dependence on RB that will test our depth. So my biggest concern could easily be our greatest strength.

QB is absolutely my biggest concern, even setting aside depth. Everyone seems to assume that Justin Fields will perform at a level that so far he has not demonstrated the ability to do. Not saying he can't, or that he won't, but assuming it seems premature.

I went with QB because Fields is definitely an unproven quantity. OL and RB would be next on my list. I expect some definite growing pains with a new HC and new defensive staff. I’m also not sold on Studs as an oline coach.

I’m immensely worried about the NW game. A Friday night game in their new digs after a Saturday night tilt with Sparty. It has all the hallmarks of this seasons’ let down game.

I would agree, but I think a lot of fans (perhaps including yourself), don't realize there's a bye in-between.
