Which Weatherman do you trust?

buckeyefool

He's back and better than ever!
  • Just wondering who everyone in columbus trusts for the most accurate weather. Seems that the storm that is coming the next two days depending on who you listen to we will see anywhere from 1 inch and snow and lots of freezing rain, or up to 9 inches of snow combined over the 24 hour period.

I trust my right knee. I had a collision with the centerfielder on my Class D baseball team, his noggin hitting inside my knee. He was out for five minutes and I couldn't walk for a week, but I sure can tell when rain or snow are coming! Oh, and I caught and held onto the ball. We lost anyway.

Oh and here's the Winter Storm Warning for you guys....(lucky bastards)

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 7 PM this evening
    to 7 PM EST Tuesday...
... Wind Chill Advisory is cancelled...

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has cancelled the Wind
Chill Advisory. A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from
7 PM this evening to 7 PM EST Tuesday.

Snow will develop across the area tonight. The snow will become
mixed with sleet and freezing rain on Tuesday morning.
Precipitation will become a rain and snow mix during Tuesday
afternoon. Total snow and sleet accumulations of 4 to 8 inches
will be possible through Tuesday... with ice accumulation less than
    a tenth of an inch.

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow...
sleet... and ice are expected or occurring. This will make travel
    very hazardous or impossible.

Remember... a Winter Storm Warning means severe winter weather
conditions are imminent or highly likely.

I live in Columbus and work in Dayton so I get to experience the worst of Central Ohio and the Miami Valley.

Columbus weatherman all seem to be equally horrible at predicting the weather. Despite all of their many giant dopplers.

Jamie Simpson, in Dayton, should be arrested for inciting panic. He is the king of worst case scenario weather forecasting that I have ever seen. Slight drizzle? I think I see some circulation. Tornado Watch!, Flood Watch. and while we're at it let's watch out for eathquakes too. Mild flurries? Better get your winter weather bunker supplies stocked. It's doing to be a bad one.

These guys are almost as bad as sports analysts when it comes to predicting outcomes...science my ass.
