Who else is going to be glued to ABC tonight? (Lost)

One more thing. When Jack and the Austrailian guy were running in the stadium, Jack never told the guy his name but after they were done talking he said something to the effect of "Jack, it was nice meeting you.... bla bla bla"
I never picked that up.

Sarah was the girl Jack was engaged to wasn't she? I remember in one of last seasons flashbacks they showed an engagement party or something and there was something said about Jack fixing her after a car wreck.

Also, what was up with that image of Walt when they were looking for Vincent in the woods? It looked like a ghost but he was dripping as if he just came out from the water.

I think that the girl (Sarah?) that jack operated on is the one he ended up marrying. Supposedly this season we are supposed to find out what happened to Jack's wife and what purpose Anna Lucia (the chick from fast and furious) plays. Personally I think that the people in the tail section of the plane are still alive somewhere.

It seems like everyone on the show is in some way connected with each other... before they were "lost"

That has been a fairly consistent undercurrent starting earlier than this year.

The one thing that did irk me was that they had the preceding edition running from 8:00 - 9:00 billed as "New" in the Guide, yet it was little more than a re-cap with voice-over.

Thankfully the 9:00 - 10:00 slot was filled to the brim (compared to a regular LOST edition).

BTW, did anyone think the "Invasion" opener holds promise for more than say 3 episodes? I have my doubts, as it seems there is only so much you can do to re-hash Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

I watched last night's show but haven't been a regular watcher but what is up with the flashbacks?

they do the flashbacks so you can get a history of the characters.... to see what demons they are fighting within themselves... we've also learned through a few of them that some of the characters are tied together (like Sawyer talking to Jacks father in a bar before he died).

I thought that while they were sitting there, Jack introduced himself (pretty casually, maybe just by saying his name) right beofre the other guy (Desmond?) gave his name.

I thought that too. Jack said his name right before they shook hands.

I'll probably watch it again tonight since my fiance didn't get to watch it yesterday. I love Tivo.

Jack did introduce himself to Desmond before they shook hands.... Desmond also said he was training to be in a "race around the world"... what's that about? Then when he gets up he tells Jack "see you in another life"?????? :sneaky:

What kills me about "Lost" is that its on at exactly the same time as "Mythbusters." There are exactly three shows on television that I really want to watch, and two of them are on at the same time . Lousy ABC schedulers ought to clear everything with me first. Just a continuation of the ESPN/ABC/Disney conspiracy to ruin my life. :sad2:

I must've missed the part where they introduced themselves. Desmond is for sure the guy in the hatch... that's what he meant by "see you in another life".

I know.... so does that mean they are DEAD like all the rumors from the first season???? :sneaky: :) I don't really think they are all dead but I love how the writers drop all these little lines in plot.

Bucky Katt: you need to get a DVR or something to record shows. I was recording shows last night on my DVR and my computer  I don't have an exciting life anymore.
