Who is the best Ohio high school player BP isn't talking about?

Here's a chance to discuss who are some of the better high school players out there, D1 caliber or not, that we aren't talking about on BP...because we obviously can't hit them all but there are some great players out there and this thread is about them.

My vote is the same guy I voted for last year and even posted a few things about in the "Players to Watch" thread...Kyle Hammonds of Solon. Every time you read a preview capsule or look at a box score, his name is everywhere. He is committed to Ohio for next year and I think the Bobcat staff stole one here. Here his film from last year:

2011 Kyle Hammonds - Solon RB15

I've posted this name several places, but 2012 Centerville DE Ifeadi Odenigbo (6-4 210) is the guy that really has the potential to go big-time, but is simply not yet getting any pub. He combines good size, a nice frame, and track speed, so he's got a lot of tools with which to work.

I watched Kyle Hammonds play against Mentor last week and he simply knows how to play the game and has skills too. I agree completely that OU stole one here.

LaKeith Walls 6-4 195 LB Cleveland Rhodes :lift:
Walls is a similar athlete to Odenigbo in that he has a good frame and is a standout sprinter. Unlike, Odenigbo, though, he is under the radar because he plays at Rhodes and isn't surrounded by anywhere near the supporting cast. Assuming his grades are in order, expect his name to start popping up in recruiting articles sooner rather than later.

Thanks to Hodgepodge:bow: for this tip.

Agree completely. I was on the field for the Alter game and he was impressive to say the least.

Hodge, Odenigbo is a junior, right?

Some other kids I really like that aren't getting much pub:

Two easy ones:

Fairfield senior LB Marquise Vann
Mt. Healthy senior DE Joel Heath

Two guys a little more under the radar:

Timken senior TE/DL Rakim Reed
Zanesville senior DE Anthony Smith

How does he rank with the other JR's? Pittman/McMullen

Below them, but primarily because he is so raw. The other top DEs are in their second or third years of starting, and this is Odenigbo's first year. By the end of the year it is possible Odenigbo may be ranked up with the other top DEs, but chances are that he'll really start jumping on the scene once combines start up next spring (assuming he can get away from his track meets to participate). If nothing else, I'd rank his athleticism up with the other top DEs, that's for sure.

A kid I like is Alden Hill, running back, from Marlington High School. He is a tough kid and doesn't go down easy. Seen him play a couple times and have been real impressed by him. He is gonna get overlooked with Warren Ball, Brionte Dunn and others in the same class, but he will make a school very happy for four years.

Najee Murray from Steubenville Big Red. He is the best open field tackler i have seen in high school. Went toe to toe with Shaq Washington in a camp and was voted top DB. His rival page is listing Ohio State, Georgia, Tennesse, Noter Dame, West Virginia and Pitt i believe. He is only a Junior

I walked away from themPerry N. Canton game very impressed with RB John Miller of Perry. Kid runs very hard. Decent size, good vision, and while I don't know the forty time he was never caught from behind. Probably not going to be elite enough for a BCS school. But I could see a ship in the MAC or D-1AA. I believe he's the second leading rusher in Stark county behind Brionte Dunn.
