Tough one. I feel like Hawk did more, but that Donte's contributions had more direct impact(s) on the bottom line.

Hawk was robbed of that last pick.

Just to balance you out, I'll put Hawk #1, Donte #2 -- even though I really agree with your order.

I just love the way Whitner plays. He set up the only touchdown of the game with a beautiful pick and return. He makes plays where you don't even have to see his number and you just know it's him. He tackles well, delivers the big hit when he can but wraps guys up and runs through them when necessary.

I figured Hawk would win this poll, I just had to give Donte some love

I would consider Whitner but I think he did a terrible job in the zone coverage on the last N.C. TD.
The N.C. Qb locked in on that WR and Whitner never reacted.

I like Simon. Maybe not a sexy choice but he was putting a lot of pressure on the Qb today. He actually caused Hawks INT.

Not a DB expert but it looked like that was Salley's fault not Whitner's.

My vote goes to Youboty by the way, Stepped up replacing Fox and did a great job

I picked Whitner. He was all over the field, had some great hits, and the 2nd Qtr pick was the key turnover for us in this game.

If I had to follow that up, I'd go 2.) Hawk (maybe his best game in his career so far), 3.) Yobouty (locked down on the NCSU WRs all day, and had a critical pick), and 4.) Mike D'Andrea (his two pressures led to the Yobouty and Whitner INTs).

1) Whitner
2) A.J
3) Nuge, D'Andrea, Youbody, Turano

I
Nuge again hit some big ones today. Three over 45 yds is hard for anyone else but him. He made them all look easy. Turano had some good punts, but more importantly he had no bad ones, while getting 2 inside the 20.
