I used to like Bernard King, who always thre down 30 for horrible teams in New York and elsewhere.

Bob McAdoo, until he landed on the Lakers and won a title at the end of his career.

I was thinking NBA since this is the bkball forum, but William Andrews and Barry are good picks. I will start one in the football area as well.

Sorry, Lion. I just pulled it up from the new posts section and didn't notice the forum. How fascist of me to have just assumed it was football. :)

It's cool, Rugby. I invite you to post your football answer on the new thread I put in the pro football area :)

World B. Free when he played here for the Cavs.

It sorta boggles my mind to think of the stats that a gunner like Free, or Maravich, or Rick Mount or Rick Barry would have put up in College or the Pros with the three point line. Pete Maravich probably would have averaged 55-60 points a game in College. I'll make him my second choice playing with the Hawks and the Jazz.

Maravich is a really good call. Sticking with the Hawks, an obscure one who was pretty good was John Drew. His biggest claim to fame turned out to be that he was the bait in the Dominique Wilkins trade.
