who's your favorite hockey team

Back when I lived in C-bus it was the Blue Jackets - went to many games and have a white jersey. Now that I live in Tampa, I've come to adopt the Lightning as my team now - going to many games where they win helps to make the transition. It's nice that CBJ is in the Western Division, and I can't imagine them making it to the Stanley Cup finals anytime soon, so I shouldn't have to choose between the two in a seven game series for a long time...

Quite the contrary - he made quite a few huge saves in the first two periods - it could have easily been 4-1 after the second period. The one goal he gave up to Iginla was pretty soft, but I can't fault him for the other two. One was a deflection from the slot - the hardest type of shot to stop IMO, and the other one from overtime was a defensive breakdown in front of him. If this series holds to the pattern, TB should win Game 6 since they've alternated wins and losses for the last 11 games in the playoffs...

The deflection is a tough shot to stop, but just as the other goal he allowed was soft, so was that deflection soft. It was not a hard deflection and it looked as if he saw it cleanly and simply froze.
It's the worse game he's had in the playoffs. He's been stellar and that is what you have to have everygame to win the cup.

My biggest beef from last night's game was the shot Modin should have buried in the beginning of the first period. He got fed the puck right in front of the net with Kipper's glove side wide open, and he tries to go five hole. If he buries that shot, it gives TB the all important first goal, and who knows how the rest of the game might have played out...

I see where your name comes from seeing as how you moved from Columbus to Tampa Bay!
I went to Tampa for 2 months in 2002, for job training. It was the worst 2 months of my life. I actually had to attend the training classes 5 days a week from 8-5. When all I wanted to do was go to the beach and soak up the scenery. What a horrible waste of 2 months in Florida.

I think that I even started to develop "Florida speed", but it was gone the minute I landed in Columbus.:roll2:

Red Wings. although after they won 3 titles, my interest has waned somewhat...the same as did my interest in the Pistons after they won it all in the early 90s. I guess that explains why I'm still a big Bengals fan....
