Wilbon as Krenzel.

Discussion in 'Professional Football' started by crazybuckfan40, Nov 17, 2004.

  1. Did you guys see on PTI act as Krenzel he really stuck up for him and said all he does is win and he never gets any respect all the people talk about are Big Ben and Manning, but he said it was the same way at tOSU.

On Mike and Mike this morning, Golic asked somebody if Manning was going to be more like Roethlisberger or Krenzel, and they both had a little chuckle. Fuckers. Both are undefeated as starters, grant it Ben's numbers are better, but results are still wins.

  3. When are people going to realize you play to win the game and not to have pretty stats, and see who can put up the most yards. Yeah they are nice but it does not always lead to wins and that is what matters most.

If I'm not mistaken, Ben has a little bit more talent around him than Krenzel does. The comparison is a bit unfair at this point. All I know is, the Bears weren't winning many games before Craig became the starter.

    CK freaks me out.
His stats always suck, but he always wins.
He has an aura about him.

It's like the baseball pitcher that has a record of 20-5, but an era of 7.

Yeah, I saw it. Wilbon's a Chicago boy so naturally he's gonna stick up for Da Bears. I was glad to see Krenzel getting some good publicity and I enjoyed him (Wilbon playing Krenzel) calling MoC a "rat-fink who stole the spotlight in Columbus." They also pulled the traditional line about him being a molecular genetics major with a 4.0 GPA in college and one of the two questioned why he's not in med school right now.

Here's hopin' Craig can play up to Peyton's level this Sunday.....

  8. They actually said molecular biology, or something like that. I started laughing.

I'm a steelers fan and I am very happy with Ben, but I competely agree. Pittsburgh is setup for a young QB to come in and have success. they have a good running game, great wide outs, and a pretty good defense.

CK just doesnt lose. END OF STORY :)

I'm not a big CK fan but you can't argue with the results. It is nice that the best 2 rookie qb's came from Ohio. Where's Big John at? :p
