i'm going to OSU on the 21st for a dashboard concert. my license plate is a michigan one. will my car get scratched/egged/slashed? i've heard bad stories and rumors. if i wrote 'osu' on my back windsheild or something would that help my chances of survival??

    thanks

    Dear atiririot:

Thank you for your question on caring for your automobile when visiting God's favorite corner of the universe.
Often we hear this type of question around the weekend of the game from incoming visitors out of the The State Up North. As far as we are concerned there is no safe date for a MeatChicken plate on the tOSU campus, but you know - buyer beware.
We certainly sympathize with your predicament - and its clear you have a desire to improve yourself and "fit in" with the local campus crowd, what with writing OSU into the rear view window. To be honest though, we don't believe that goes far enough. I can recommend a couple of job shops whio can get the OSU logo etched into the glass with acid, or better yet sand-blasted. It gives a really cool frosted appearance, and it will last forever. Hell - go whole hog and do it up right while you are in Columbus and get your rig repainted in a true Scarlet and Grey job! NOW - Don't worry for a second about the reception you'll get when you cross back over the border into the land of mornoic and slow witted coaches where sCUM lives.
Those clowns up north always tell us they don't care about The Game, (its one more goes their line) so really you will be safe in SCUM and immune (and nazzily dressed) in Columbus, OHIO.

Best of Both Worlds -- That's what we think,

    Yours

Nah, we have a lot of ex-pats here for school...

But my friend from MI always put a set of Maine license plates on around michigan time :)

I don't understand the question. Your car already IS ruined.

I would put something written that says Ohio State or OSU in the back ... since that's the only plate you have to worry about.
