Wimbledon Men - Who Wins?

Have to believe if Nadal was healthy that the defending champ would have been the favorite.
4-1 odds for Nadal are definitely worth a risk but . . .
Rafael Nadal struggles in exhibition; Wimbledon title defense in doubt - ESPN
LONDON -- Rafael Nadal looked hampered by his injured knees during a 6-4, 6-3 loss to Lleyton Hewitt in an exhibition Thursday. He will decide Friday if he can defend his Wimbledon title.
Nadal played without tape on his knees but frequently appeared a step slow in the grass-court match at Hurlingham Club. This was Nadal's first match since his loss to Robin Soderling in the fourth round of the French Open. He pulled out of last week's grass-court tournament at Queen's Club to rest his knees.
Nadal looked increasingly frustrated against the hard-serving Hewitt, repeatedly failing to get to balls he normally reaches and struggling with unforced backhand errors. He frequently muttered to himself in Spanish after missed shots and often had to rely on his top-spin forehand to escape trouble.
He did not speak to reporters, but uncle and coach Toni Nadal said it was still uncertain whether he can play at Wimbledon, which starts Monday.

Nadal just confirmed that he is out for Wimbeldon... That sucks.. Maybe Roddick will pull something out of his ass.. Ahh who am I kidding

Aw. . shucks, should have waited till today to deposit those vbucks, 4-1 odds on Nadal are not as atractive now.

Roddick and his serve should have more of an advantage on grass than clay. After his showing at Roland Garros have to believe anything is possible. . .
though not probable.

Wimbeldon is Roddick's best surface, but whenever he plays someone good he usually gets his ass handed to him. Maybe he'll get lucky and play Djokovic and Djokovic will have to retire early because of exhaustion like he does at every major event.

Roddick has no chance in hell if he faces Federer

Hard courts are his best surface, especially DecoTurf.

I think he is much more consistent at Wimbeldon. If it wasnt for Federer he might have two Wimbeldon titles

That Wimbledon final in....2003? I think it was turned those two careers around i believe. Roddick was cruising in that match up a set and a break in the 2nd til the rains came, then federer hasn't looked back since.

 @ James Blake.

Murray has a chance if he can keep it together mentally and not try to toy with people, and obviously he can beat Federer.

If Roddick wants to do anything he better hope he doesn't play Federer because he can't beat him.

Roddick upsets Andy Murray in the semis. 141 miles an hour top serve speed gave a significant advantage to the American Andy, even though he was generally outplayed in the other aspects of winners, unforced errors, total points.
Looking forward to the finals-- Roddick has an embarrassing record of 2-18 against Federer, including losses in the '04 and '05 Wimbledon finals.
It is not an impossible situation to catch Federer on a bad day, but with the slower grass, chewed turf conditions Roddick loses some of the sting on his big weapon.
Seems like America is so happy to see one of its own in the finals again that it is a moral victory even if he loses to Fed. Still would love to see ARod pull off the surprise of the decade and prolong Sampras' record of 14 grand slam championship.
