Wireless internet/xbox question

  • Does anyone have their Xbox hooked up to a wireless network. I need to hook mine up but I wasn't sure the best way to do it.

I have some research and the best option I could find was a linksys wireless g router and then getting a linksys wireless game adapter. Xbox has an adapter but it is much more expensive than the linksys.

    anyone else have any ideas?

I'd probably go the linksys route if I were you. I'd also stick with the G version if the price difference is acceptable, and I'd go with the Speedbooster router. I just set up a wireless network for my Mom over Christmas, and it seems to work well. It did get some interference though from her 2.4 GHz phone. She got a 5.8 GHz phone and that seems to be working OK for her.

    WET11: Linksys Wireless Ethernet Bridge (B) = $69.95
    WGA11B : Linksys Wireless-B Game Adapter = $59.99 (minus $10 rebate = $49.99)
    WGA54G : Linksys Wireless-G Game Adapter = $89.99 (minus $10 rebate = $79.99)
