Also, UW and OSU are in the same div. Thus no ccg for UW. My math was, and is, correct.

This will ring especially true after 10-29 at about 11:15 pm est. 61.53% of the way thru Ohio State's regular season. 57.14% if you include the bowl game.

Colin Cowherd said Wilson is the best QB in the Big 10, so it has to be true

Despite evidence to the contrary.

As I posted above, Wilson's running numbers are nothing to write home about, and his 17/11 TD/INT ratio in a very weak Pass Defense conference doesn't exactly terrify me.

Teams with solid defenses should have no more trouble with Wilson than they already would have had against Wiscy. They have a solid O Line and a solid running game. Adding Wilson just means they're not going to be completely inept at QB - but I'd rate him as more of a Jeremiah Masoli than a Cam Newton, as far as transfer QBs go.

some talking head even said this puts Wisky in the bcs title picture. These fucks couldn't even beat TCU and now they are BCS title material?

now they have lost JJ Watt, some great O-Lineman....

They haven't shown a track record of reloading either. They have a great year, then build back up over the next several years.

Is it too early to post this?

ESPN was giving him serious fellatio last night, showing stats how he's something like the #2 all-time conference leader in passing yardage and TDs. They failed to mention that he runs his stats up against non-conference opponents (except against powershouse East Carolina, in which he went 26 for 52 with 3 INTs and 1 TD in a loss). He threw at least one pick in nine straight games last year. Now, in 2008 he had a stellar 17-1 TD/INT ratio and in 2009 a solid 31-11 ratio, to go along with his 11-1 ratio in his first four games last year. But after the GT game (fourth game), he went 17/13.

Exactly!

And O'Brien knows QBs. He's probably the best in the ACC at identifying talent and utilizing it - those six First-Team All-ACC QBs he coached show he has better QB chops than any other coach in that conference. If that guy is willing to unceremoniously cut ties with Wilson, that doesn't say great things about him.

I think everyone agrees that Wilson is not without skills. I think we'd also all agree that this isn't likely to put Wiscy in the title picture all by itself.

ACC defenses are terrible and Wilson's numbers against good teams are not good. Also, if he was so great, NC State would have tried to keep him. Lastly, give me Persa any day over Wilson. Quarterback play is certainly not the Big Ten's strong suit, but Wilson is not the best and Cowherd is a [censored].
